This website is a journey in exploring peace and peace studies. I became very interested in this topic as I searched for a PhD program that I felt would make a difference in my life and in the lives of those who I come into contact with.
Studying peace is a privilege and an immense responsibility as I learn about theories, techniques, interventions and practical strategies in addressing conflict in everyday life. From the most basic levels of conflict–conflict within ourselves–to conflict among the great nations of our world, I will attempt to share my knowledge and experience while tapping into the world of peacemakers that share a vision for a world of cooperation, unity and peace.
Thank you for accompanying me on this learning journey. My hope is that I will touch your lives in a way that motivates you to become a peacemaker in yourself and in your immediate sphere of influence which has a ripple effect beyond our understanding.
Together, we can create the peaceful environment necessary to make our world flourish. Together, we can all be peace builders in our lives and our communities; and together, we can give peace to each other as one of our ultimate gifts to humanity.
